The world-famous Van Gogh Museum has just launched in Lisbon, the Meet Vincent van Gogh Experience, which invites you to step into Vincent van Gogh’s world and get closer to the brilliant artist than ever before.
It’s a multisensory journey through the most important moments of his extraordinary life, and it will be on display for a limited time (the exhibition closing date is not yet known – so make sure to visit it within the following weeks!).
The exhibition is filled with entertaining activities that let you touch and feel elements of Van Gogh’s life and all tickets include a free audio guide, available in both children (4-12 years) and adult (13+) versions, in English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Mandarin, Corean and Portuguese.
The visit will take at least 60 minutes, but they recommend a 90-minute visit time to fully enjoy the Experience (but you can stay in the Experience for as long as you like).
Meet Vincent van Gogh will be in Belém at Terrreiro das Missas (in front of Museu dos Coches, riverside), and you may buy tickets online. Visiting on weekdays (instead of the weekends) is advisable given that it is cheaper and less crowded, for sure.
Two sets of children’s books (ages 4-8 and 12+) are available in multiple languages for purchase at the Experience shop.
